MLB is back on the card — the evening six, with the outages printed
The MLB restore starts tonight, honestly scoped: the six evening games (first pitch 6:10 PM ET or later), full Match Details on every one, the probables page, the daily ratings cards, and both books' splits. Three things are printed rather than pretended: the ballpark-and-weather partner's park-factor feed was down at capture (retried, still down) — that's our totals HARD GATE, so there are no total bets tonight no matter how loud the money is; the network's totals model had not posted its MLB card by capture; and the props screen did not run — the prop board returns with tomorrow's slate. The afternoon games went unbet and uncovered — a card published after first pitch is not a card. Umpire crews were not posted at capture.
The shape of the night: two games where every layer stacks one way (Milwaukee, Arizona — the latter with the market-maker's classic 95%-tickets/14%-dollars wiseguy print on the other side), one coin-flip the ratings score as −126 (St. Louis, the card's best number), and three printed passes where the value and the confirmation live on opposite sides. Argument against the card's #1 (STL −103): the Cardinal bullpen rates −28, worst on the card — Leahy has to hand over a lead, not a tie.

⚡ Lambert (3.67 ERA, 1.232 WHIP, 14-11 in Astro starts) against Seymour (4.33, a swingman with 13 starts), and the ratings quietly like the road side: Houston grades +24 in form to Tampa Bay's −31, wins the starter column (9 vs −7) and the bullpen column (19 vs 11). Three rating systems price this at Tampa Bay −124 — the public book wants −145 for the same team. Alvarez is day-to-day (ankle) and the Astro IL is long (Correa, Matthews). Injury tabs read both sides (captured Sat Sep 12, 11:15–11:50 AM ET).
💸 THE CROWD VS THE CASH. The public book's moneyline money is 60% Rays on 70% of tickets — public and cash agree, mildly. The total is the louder print: 76% of tickets AND 85% of platform-tracked money on the Over 7.5. The market-maker's board on this game is a handful of bets — directional only, per doctrine.
🎯 THE FINAL VERDICT: STAY AWAY — printed as the value that couldn't find a second layer. Houston +120 against a fair −124 is real originator value, and the ratings agree — but both books' money leans Tampa Bay, no system fires, and a day-to-day Alvarez decides the lineup card. Value with no confirmation is a print, not a bet. Total: no bet — the ballpark-and-weather partner's feed was down at capture and the totals gate doesn't open without it.

⚡ Cincinnati sends Singer (5.03 ERA, 1.466 WHIP, 10-18 in his teams' starts) at a 92-win team on a four-game winning streak, behind a bullpen that rates −11 to Milwaukee's 27 — the exact shape of the season guide's most consistent 2026 system (fade poor-bullpen-plus-poor-starter, 88-130 to the fade side this year). Harrison (3.66, 28.5% strikeouts) starts for Milwaukee. The Reds' IL holds Greene, Steer and half a rotation. Injury tabs both sides (captured Sat Sep 12, 11:15–11:50 AM ET).
💸 THE CROWD VS THE CASH. The public book: 89% of moneyline money on Milwaukee (94% of tickets). The total is a warning: 99% of platform-tracked total money and 84% of the public book's is on the Over 8.5 — a stampede we can't grade without the park-factor gate, so we won't. The market-maker's cells are thin.
🎯 THE FINAL VERDICT: MILWAUKEE −174 — conviction 55. The layers agree top to bottom: ratings (−202 fair), the bullpen system, the money, the streaks, the starters. The argument against is the ticket price alone — at −174 the record pays slowly and loses fast, which is why the conviction stays moderate and the shop note (−174, not −187) is part of the bet. Total: no bet — gate down, stampede printed.

⚡ The best pitcher on the slate is here: Luzardo, 2.87 ERA, 30.4% strikeouts, 21-8 in Phillie starts — against Mahle (4.05, 10-14). And yet the ratings barely move: Atlanta −136 fair against a −137 market, with the form-adjusted starter column oddly favoring Atlanta (11 vs −15 — Luzardo's recent outings drag his rating). Marsh is day-to-day; Cortes on the 7-day. Injury tabs both sides (captured Sat Sep 12, 11:15–11:50 AM ET).
💸 THE CROWD VS THE CASH. A genuine two-book argument: the public book's moneyline DOLLARS are 54% Philadelphia on 22% of tickets — a sharp-shaped print — while the platform's tracked money is 78% Atlanta. When the rooms disagree on the SIDE, our rule is written down. The total: 95% of platform money on the Over 8, un-gradeable with the gate down.
🎯 THE FINAL VERDICT: STAY AWAY, by rule. The two sharp reads sit on opposite sides, the ratings call it priced, and moderate rain over Truist adds a delay-shortened-start scenario that hits the best asset in the game (Luzardo) hardest. The expert room has two picks here; we're not copying either. Total: no bet — gate down.

⚡ The market calls this a coin flip; the ratings don't: three systems price St. Louis −126. Castillo (5.57 ERA, 1.460 WHIP, 8-15 in his starts) against Leahy (3.41, 13-14). The White Sox pairing — a 26-rated bullpen behind a −29-rated starter — is the season guide's 'most consistent' fade of 2026, and it fires against Chicago tonight. Bart on the IL for Chicago. Injury tabs both sides (captured Sat Sep 12, 11:15–11:50 AM ET).
💸 THE CROWD VS THE CASH. The public book's tickets lean Chicago (66%) with money nearly even (51%) — a contrarian setup — and the market-maker's money is 60% St. Louis. Total money on the platform: 80% Under 8.5, the rare under-money print on this slate, and still no bet with the gate down.
🎯 THE FINAL VERDICT: ST. LOUIS −103 — conviction 58, the card's best number. Twenty-plus cents of ratings value, the sharpest 2026 system, contrarian against the public book's tickets, the market-maker's money agreeing. Argument against, printed: St. Louis's bullpen rates −28 — the value lives in the first six innings, and Leahy has to deliver them.

⚡ Pfaadt (3.53, 13-3 in his teams' starts, 0.260 BAbip) against Rocker (4.61, 1.441 WHIP), with Arizona's ratings edge everywhere: starter 10 vs −6, bullpen 6 vs −21, and a fair line of −167 against a −122 market. Texas arrives on a three-game slide with the worse bullpen — the guide's skid system fires against them. Jung and Leiter on the Ranger IL. Injury tabs both sides (captured Sat Sep 12, 11:15–11:50 AM ET).
💸 THE CROWD VS THE CASH. The market-maker's print is the headline: 95% of tickets on Texas, 86% of the money on Arizona — low bets, big dollars, the signature the splits doctrine was built on. The public book's money is 75% Arizona too. ALIGNED. The total: Makinen's card reads 8.5 UNDER on estimated scores, but the gate is down and the total stays unbet.
🎯 THE FINAL VERDICT: ARIZONA −122 — conviction 57. Forty-five cents of ratings value, the wiseguy split at the market-maker, the skid system, and the better pitcher. Argument against: Arizona's over-under record (60-80-8) says these games run hot, and a bullpen game inflates variance late — the price, not the side, is the risk.

⚡ Woo (4.03, 1.055 WHIP — the best WHIP on the slate) against Jump (5.12, 1.490), and the market prices it like a mismatch: Seattle −156/−174. The ratings disagree loudly — the three-system fair line is closer to −118, forty-plus cents below the market, and the form columns are nearly even (+24 vs +5). Seattle's season money column is −3,161 — the most publicly overbet team in baseball. Donovan (concussion) and a long Mariner IL. Injury tabs both sides (captured Sat Sep 12, 11:15–11:50 AM ET).
💸 THE CROWD VS THE CASH. The public book's money is 84% Seattle on 73% of tickets — public and cash on the favorite. The market-maker: 87% of tickets Seattle, money split — no sharp confirmation either way. Total money 74% Over 9.5 on the platform, unbet, gate down.
🎯 THE FINAL VERDICT: STAY AWAY — the Athletics +144 value is printed, not played. The originator gap (fair −118, market −174 at the public book) is the biggest on the slate, but it stands alone: no system fires, no sharp money confirms, and Jump's 1.490 WHIP is the reason the market won't budge. When the only friendly layer is a ratings gap, the record says print it and watch. Total: no bet — gate down.
The ledger
Team leans: Milwaukee −174 (55), St. Louis −103 (58), Arizona −122 (57) — every one argued against its own dissent above. Stay-aways, printed with their reasons: Astros–Rays (value without confirmation), Phillies–Braves (two sharp rooms on opposite sides, plus rain), Mariners–Athletics (the slate's biggest originator gap, standing alone). Totals: zero bets — the park-factor gate was down at capture and the gate exists precisely so lopsided total money (99% on the Milwaukee over!) can't talk us into an ungated bet. No props tonight; the screen returns tomorrow. Sourcing: our data platform (board, Match Details, injury tabs, tracked public betting; captured Sat Sep 12, 11:15–11:50 AM ET); a Las Vegas betting network's games page (probables, weather, three-system estimated lines), daily ratings cards, and two-book money splits (same window); the season guide's bullpen systems applied from the ratings cards by our own chart read.
