Dearica Hamby — Over 14.5 Points, published with an honest matchup flag. The single highest Edge Gap on the board tonight, built on a plus-money price against a real history edge. But Washington's opponent defense ranks 2nd in the league against this exact stat — a genuinely tough matchup for an Over. We're keeping her at #1 because the price-vs-history gap is the largest we've seen on a WNBA card, but know the matchup data is arguing the other way.
Jackie Young — Over 19.5 Points, same flag. Young showed up on this screen more times than any other player tonight — six different props cleared our odds and hit-rate bar, all on the same plus-money number against the same opponent. We picked her single best (this one) rather than publish the player six times, and the same tough-defense conflict that hit Hamby applies here too: her opponent ranks 3rd against points allowed.
Charlisse Leger-Walker — Under 8.5 Points+Rebounds. The smallest Edge Gap on the card, but the only leg tonight where the matchup layer actually supports the pick instead of fighting it — a genuinely tough opponent defense (5th in the league against this stat) helps an Under, not an Over. Smaller edge, cleaner signal.
Why this slate is this thin

Every other candidate that cleared our price-vs-history screen tonight (Cameron Brink's rebounds, Courtney Williams' assists, Ariel Atkins' multiple props, a second Dearica Hamby leg) ran into a top-4 opponent defense in the exact stat we were betting. We're not forcing five or six picks onto a card that only has three genuinely defensible ones. Three legs is the honest number tonight.
New York @ Connecticut was thin on its own. Our screen returned only one clean candidate from this game all night. We're not going to manufacture a second pick from a game that didn't produce one.
